Loan Processor
The Loan Processor will manage loan applications in a timely and orderly manner, in conformance with established bank policies and procedures. Acts as a liaison between the Lending Department, sales staff, branches and customers. Enters data on the system, assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy. Pulls credit report, prepares verification of employment and deposits. Assembles all documentation prior to the approval of loans, follows the loan thru the closing.
Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a High school diploma or equivalent, with six months to one year of experience in an office environment. Understand financial institution products and services.
Data entry and computer skills are essential, along with excellent communication /customer service skills and ability to work with fine details.
Loan Servicing Assistant
The incumbent will perform a variety of loan servicing and related administrative duties. You will be responding to customer, colleague, and attorney inquiries including requests for payoffs and discharges. Process real estate taxes and PMI premiums, track insurance binders and renewals, process loan payments, and complete both mortgage and loan verification request.
Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a High school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of relevant lending / banking experience and demonstrated PC proficiency. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
Loan Underwriter
As Loan Underwriter, you will assist in the generation of high quality loans for the bank by evaluating and underwriting residential and consumer loan applications originated by sales and branch staff. You will be responsible for assessing background information and analyzing a loan applicant’s credit history, cash flow and collateral value. You will have authority to approve or deny consumer loan applications based on analysis and lending authority as delegated by the bank. You will act as a liaison between the lending department, branch and sales staff.
Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates will posses a Bachelors degree in finance or accounting or comparable experience. Knowledge of lending and underwriting policies and procedures for residential, home equity, and other consumer loans.
Business Banking Officer
Belmont Savings Bank is seeking experienced Business Banking Officers to join our organization. The Business Banking Officer will be responsible for new business acquisition among companies that generate up to $5 million in sales or revenue. You will be responsible for generating core business deposits and loans, as well as cross selling other business and personal financial products. You will strategize with branch colleagues to develop new leads. Compensation will be base salary plus commission for achieving monthly new business goals.
Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree with at least two years experience selling financial services to Small Business entities. The self-motivated candidate requires strong interpersonal skills along with analytical and organizations skills to multi-task as required.
